As the holiday season approaches, more and more consumers are turning to online shopping to find bargains and unique gifts for their loved ones, all while avoiding the queues in crowded stores. It is also an opportunity for fraudsters to make new victims by putting fraudulent retail sites online, promising great deals. The aim of this webinar is to shed light on the upsurge in fraudulent sites affecting the Quebec population in recent months. It will present the distinctive characteristics of merchant fraud and provide practical advice on how to avoid this type of fraud.
